Accommodation & Tenancy Support

Practical help to find a home, understand a tenancy agreement and keep a tenancy going. Support with the paperwork, the inspections and the day-to-day responsibilities that come with renting.

Keeping a tenancy is rarely about the rent alone. It is the inspection you did not know was coming, the letter you did not open, and the form that needed returning three weeks ago.

This service is the practical scaffolding around all of that.

Finding somewhere

We help you work out what you actually need — accessibility, proximity to transport and services, affordability — and then support the search and application process rather than doing it over your head.

Keeping it

Once you are in, support shifts to the things that keep a tenancy stable: preparing for inspections, understanding what the agent is asking for, and building routines that keep the place in the condition your lease requires.

We are not a housing provider and we do not offer SIL or SDA. If that is what you need, tell us and we will point you to providers who do.

Common questions

Accommodation & Tenancy Support — FAQs

Do you provide the housing itself?

No. We are not a housing provider and we do not offer Supported Independent Living or Specialist Disability Accommodation. We support you to find, secure and keep housing that someone else provides.

Can you help if I am at risk of eviction?

We can support you with the obligations side — inspections, communication with the agent, and the routines that keep a tenancy on track. For legal advice about an eviction notice you need a tenancy advocate, and we will help you contact one.

Is this funded under the NDIS?

It can be, where your plan includes assistance with accommodation and tenancy obligations. Send us your plan and we will tell you what we think applies.
